Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been given one-match stadium ban with immediate effect and fined £40,000 after admitting to misconduct charge by the English Football Association.
Mourinho had earlier described the fine by the football governing body over his half-time conduct during the defeat at West Ham last September as a disgrace.
The F.A statement read: “Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing today, José Mourinho has been given a one-match stadium suspension with immediate effect and fined £40,000.
“The Chelsea manager admitted an FA charge of misconduct regarding his language and/or behaviour towards the match officials in or around the dressing room area during half-time of the game against West Ham United on 24 October 2015.”
The 52-year old Portuguese will now miss the Premier League match at Stoke City on Saturday and a loss could signal the end of his second spell at the Stamford bridge.
