Samson Siasia and his U-23 lads have been hit by a major injury blow as the team’s most influential player at the U23 AFCON Stanley Dimgba has been ruled out of tonight’s make or mar Group B clash against Algeria.

The Warri Wolves star has churned out catalogue of brilliant performances for the team with three assists in the first two group games against Mali and Egypt and will be hugely missed in the fixture that will determine Nigeria’s qualification for Rio 2016 Olympics.

Meanwhile, South Africa and hosts Senegal are through to the semi-finals of the tournament. South Africa defeated Tunisia 1-0 during their final Group A encounter held at Stade Caroline Faye in M’Bour, while Senegal maintained their 100% record in the 2015 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations with a 1-0 win over Zambia in Dakar on Friday night.
