The chairman of Nigeria Professional Football League Champions Enyimba Football club of Aba Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu has resigned after leading the Aba Elephants to their seventh league title .

Anyansi, has been in charge of the two-time African champions for the past 16 years during which the club won all their major honours including two CAF Champions League and seven league championships.

Anyansi said his health and pressure for him to quit were behind his decision to throw in the towel.
“The pressure is on me to quit and also the consideration for my health,” Anyansi stated.

Enyimba won an unprecedented seventh league title this season after they recorded 70 points from 38 matches and remains a member of the NFF technical committee.
